How we started

 

Spoonful of Sugar started in May 2013. The idea of a cupcake and tea shop has always been something that intrigued me. In the process of finishing a teaching degree I hit some bumps in the road and decided it was time to start a new adventure.  Last year, I decided to ask my grandmother (Lynda) to join forces with me and start a cupcake shop.  ​​She has years of experience in making wedding cakes, so I knew she would be a great partner.  The process started out slow at first and then quickly took off, we had a name and we found a building in just a couple weeks.

We do cupcakes lunch and hot tea. We also provide some frozen coffee drinks and frozen hot chocolate. Need something catered, let us know. We provide gluten-free and sugar-free cupcake options. We have our own special blend of coffee. Come have a tea party with us or just a business meeting. We can accommodate pretty much any occasion.

We are so excited to start our journey in Headland, AL and we look forward to many years of great business and friendships. ​
